HPC Environment - Beowulf Cluster
 
Carleton University:
  • 64 nodes with 4x2.2 GHz Opteron Cores w/ 8 GB RAM per node
  • 3 TB of disk storage.
  • All nodes are interconnected via a Foundry SuperX switch
    using Gigabit ethernet
  • This system is primarily for systems and tools research.
Cluster Software:
  • Rocks version 4.3 with a custom built kernel 2.6.28.7 on compute nodes. MPI libraries and general programming tools available.
